The Perfect 4-Day Streamsong Buddies Golf Trip (Sample Itinerary)

A sample 4-day Streamsong buddies golf trip itinerary for a group of eight — all three links courses plus the short course, on-resort lodging, and the Florida links experience.

Updated June 2026·5 min read

This is a sample itinerary we’d build for a group of eight friends, mixed handicaps, over four days at Streamsong — Florida’s links-golf bucket-list. Treat it as a template; we’d tune the courses, caddies, and pace to your group. The point is the shape: pure golf, walkable links, and all three courses.

At a glance

  • Group: 8 friends, handicaps ~6 to 22
  • Length: 4 days / 3 nights at Streamsong
  • Base: On-resort at the Streamsong lodge
  • Rounds: All three courses + replays + the short course, caddies on the big days
  • Getting there: Fly into Tampa (TPA) or Orlando (MCO), about an hour away

Day 1 — Arrival & ease in

  • Midday: Fly into Tampa or Orlando, drive out to the resort, check in.
  • Afternoon: Warm up on the Black Course (Gil Hanse) — big, wide, and a great way to meet the dunescape.
  • Evening: Dinner at the resort; an early one before the two-a-day.

Day 2 — The marquee two-a-day

  • Morning: Streamsong Red (Coore & Crenshaw) with caddies — the headline course, firm and fast.
  • Afternoon: Streamsong Blue (Tom Doak) from the shared clubhouse — debate which you liked more over a beer afterward.
  • Evening: The big group dinner.

Day 3 — Replay & short-course fun

  • Morning: Replay your favorite of the Red or Blue — they play completely differently in changed wind.
  • Afternoon: The Roundabout short course and the Gauntlet putting green — wedges, putts, and beers.
  • Evening: Relaxed dinner on-resort.

Day 4 — One more & fly out

  • Morning: A final loop on the Black (or whichever course you’re missing) before the drive back.
  • Midday: Head to Tampa or Orlando and fly home.

Why this works

Streamsong rewards the two-a-day links rhythm, so the trip is built around it — a warm-up, the marquee Red/Blue double, a replay when you know the courses, and the short course for pure fun. It’s a focused, golf-first trip in a setting that surprises everyone expecting “Florida golf.”

The version we’d build for your group would lock the rounds and caddies, sort the airport logistics, and put it all in one place your eight guys can see. Want Orlando’s variety or Naples’ beaches instead? We’ll build that too. Tell us about your trip.

Frequently asked

How many rounds can you play in 4 days at Streamsong?
Plenty — Streamsong is walkable and built for multiple rounds a day, so a four-day trip easily covers all three championship courses (Red, Blue, Black) plus replays and the short course. Five to six rounds over four days is comfortable.
What’s a good Streamsong / Florida golf trip itinerary?
Open on the Black to get your eye in, play the Red and Blue as a two-a-day from the shared clubhouse, replay your favorite, and close on the short course at sunset. Base on-resort and use caddies on the big walking days.
